Egypt rejects any attempt of violating Syria’s sovereignty, Al-Sisi says

Cairo, SANA- Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi reiterated his country’s rejection of any attempts by some regional parties to violate Syrian sovereignty or its territorial integrity.

Al-Ahram Gate website quoted Al-Sisi as saying in a press conference with Romanian President Klaus Iohannis in Cairo “we discussed the crisis in Syria and renewed our support for the efforts of UN envoy for a political solution based on Security Council Resolution No. 2254.”

The two presidents rejected any attempts by some regional parties to impose a fait accompli, whether through violating Syrian sovereignty or through forced demographic changes in the country.
