Temperatures below average, clear and partly cloudy weather in general

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to drop to become from 2 to 4 below average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, rain showers are expected over the coastal region, while, the weather will be relatively cold at night. The Department warned against the formation of fog in the central region, Qalamoun, and Ghouta of Damascus.

The wind will be westerly to northwesterly with a low to a moderate speed, and some active gusts, while the sea waves will be low to medium in amplitude.

Rain fell in some Syrian provinces as the highest amount of rain was registered in Lattakia and reached 26mm.

The rain amounts in some Syrian provinces according to the rain bulletin issued by the Ministry of Agriculture and Agrarian Reforms was as follows: 15mm in Homs, 15mm in Hama and 20mm in Tartous.

The bulletin added that the expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 24/13, Daraa 24/12, Homs 25/13, Hasaka 29/13, Tartous 27/19, Aleppo 26/13, Deir Ezzor 28/14.
