Provinces, SANA- Units of the army and armed forces on Wednesday continued large-scale military operations against the terrorists’ hideouts and gatherings, killing increasing numbers of them and injuring scores of others.
Daraa
Army units killed over 40 terrorists as they targeted their gatherings
and hideouts in the countryside of the southern province of Daraa, in addition to destroying an ammunition cache and several vehicles, some of which equipped with anti-aircraft machinegun, according to a military source.
The source told SANA that more than 15 terrorists were killed and an ammunition cache was destroyed in military operations against terrorists’ gatherings in al-Sheikh Miskeen town.
Other army units left 25 terrorists killed and injured, in addition to destroying a fuel warehouse and a vehicle equipped with a heavy machine gun in Mzayrib town.
The army also destroyed two hideouts and killed all terrorists inside, in addition to destroying ammunition caches and fuel warehouses in al-Ghariya town.
In the same context, army units clashed with terrorists from Jabhat al-Nusra terrorist organization and the so-called “Tawheed al-Janoub Brigade” and “Mujahidi Hawran Battalions”, killing a large number of them, in addition to destroying two hideouts and two vehicles equipped with anti-aircraft machineguns.
Homs
Units of the army and armed forces killed a number of terrorists and injured others in al-Mdeirjeh al-Gharbiyeh and Ein Hussien al-Janoubi in Talbiseh in the countryside of the central province.
A military source told SANA that the army foiled a terrorist attack launched by a takfiri terrorist group on a number of military posts in the surrounding of al-Rastan, killing all members of the group.
Damascus countryside
Army units targeted gatherings of takfiri terrorist organizations in al-Qalamon area in Damascus countryside, killing and injuring many terrorists and destroying their hideouts along with the weapons, ammo, and equipment inside them.
Other army units inflicted heavy losses upon terrorists in Khan al-Sheih area southeast of Damascus city, leaving many terrorists dead or injured.
Idleb
Army units eliminated scores of terrorists and destroyed some of their vehicles in Abu al-Dohor, Tal Salmo, and Talab in Idleb countryside.
A military source told SANA that the army killed a number of terrorists in Benish to the north eastern side of Idelb during special operations to protect the surrounding of Idleb city from terrorism of takfiri terrorists.
Other army units eliminated a number of terrorists and injured others in the areas of Qara’a al-Gazal, Talab, al-Dabshia, and Halwz.
Hama
Army units killed and injured many terrorists in Tahmaz, Um Fishfash, al-Qastal al-Shamali, Aqirabat, Hamadi Omar, and Jana al-Olbawi in Hama countryside.
Lattakia
Army units killed many terrorists, injured others, and destroyed three of their vehicles equipped with heavy machine-guns in Arah, al-Qassab, al-Wadi al-Azrak, and Zahia Mountain in the eastern countryside of Lattakia.
Mazen Qartish, Omar Khan Kan, Mahmoud Khazandar, Abdelsatar al-Juma’a, Murad Daghim, and Juma’a Tawas were identified among the dead terrorists.
Deir Ezzor
Popular defense groups eliminated 24 ISIS terrorists in al-Mayadin city in Deir Ezzor province in the eastern part of Syria.
Local sources told SANA that defense groups set an ambush for terrorists on Tuesday night near al-Baloum roundabout in al-Mayadin, which is located around 45 km southeast of Deir Ezzor city, resulting in the death of 18 ISIS terrorists.
Defense groups also eliminated 6 ISIS terrorists at the outskirts of the city.
Earlier, defense groups in the province captured all members of a terrorist group affiliated with ISIS near the city, in addition to destroying a vehicle along with the terrorists inside it in al-Bolil village.
