Education Minister: First semester exams began in orderly and organized manner

Damascus, SANA – Education Minister Hazwan al-Waz affirmed that first semester exams for basic and secondary education began on Monday in an orderly and organized manner in all areas, except for Sweida province and some areas in Damascus Countryside and Quneitra due to current weather conditions.

Visiting exam centers in a number of Damascus schools, al-Waz said that heads of education directorates in the provinces have clear instructions for exam schedules and postponing them when necessary due to weather conditions.

Al-Waz pointed out that Education Ministry has no official pages on social media websites.

The Sweida education directorate announced that exams will start on Tuesday, with the exams starting at 10 AM on each day according to the exam schedule.
