Nebenzia affirms necessity of US occupation forces withdrawal from Syria  

New York, SANA- Russia’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Vassily Nebenzia, has renewed his country’s call for the withdrawal of the illegitimate US occupation forces from Syrian territory.

Commenting on US President Joe Biden’s speech at the United Nations General Assembly, who considered that the use of military force is the last solution that can be resorted to, and diplomatic methods should be used before it, Nebenzia stressed in an interview with Russian Channel One TV, “This opinion is correct and must be tested in practice with the withdrawal of the illegitimate US forces from Syria.”

He added that everything the American president said should be translated into actions, not only words, pointing out that Biden spoke at length and said correct words, and many of the statements in his speech can be agreed on.
