Damascus, SANA – People’s Assembly held on Sunday a session headed by Speaker Hammouda Sabbagh to discuss the work of government in the presence of Prime Minister Hussein Arnous .
Sabbagh stressed that the session is a step to hold general discussion with the government about its policies and works in the framework of the ascending track of national action.
“The economic and service situation is a priority for the citizen and government, particularly during this stage in light of the prevailing difficulties, Arnous told MPs.
He affirmed that speeding up work of production circle and establishing projects are of the government concerns as this is the safest way to provide additional resources and job opportunities, reduce the rate of unemployment and increase the supply of goods and services.
