Vienna, SANA- Syria’s permanent representative to the United Nations and other international organizations in Vienna, Ambassador Hasan Khaddour, affirmed that Syria has fulfilled all its legal obligations under the comprehensive safeguards agreement and nuclear Non-Proliferation treaty and met all requests on time.
Khaddour, during the works of Board of Governors’ session for September, held by the International Atomic Energy Agency in Vienna, said in a statement on Thursday that the disturbance track followed by some well-known parties, aim to exert more pressure on Syria which managed to carry out all the international obligations required under the Safeguards Agreement despite the difficult circumstances it has passed through.
He stressed that the remaining of Israeli occupation entity, with its nuclear capabilities, outside the framework of the Non-Proliferation Treaty and the comprehensive safeguards agreement poses a serious threat to the Non-Proliferation system.
