Damascus, SANA- Temperatures continue to drop to become around or slightly lower than average as the country is affected by low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.
The Meteorology Department expected in its Sunday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, rain showers accompanied with thunder are expected over the coastal areas, while the weather will remain misty and hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera, and al-Badia areas.
The winds will be western to southwestern between low and moderate speed, while the sea waves will be moderate at highest.
The amount of rain fell during the past 24 hours 26mm in al-Mzaira, 17mm in al-Hafa, 18mm in Bshlama in Banias city in the coastal region.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities are as follows: Damascus 36/21, Homs 32/21, Hasaka 41/29, Aleppo 35/26, and Deir Ezzor 40/29.
