Temperatures above average, hot weather in general

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 3 to 5 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial Indian seasonal low air pressure accompanied by northwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

In its Sunday bulletin, Meteorology Department said that skies will be clear, and the weather will be hot and misty in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia regions.

The wind will be westerly to southwesterly in the coastal and southern regions, with a low to a moderate speed and some active gusts, and it will be northwesterly with a low to a moderate speed in other regions, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 39/23, Daraa 37/23, Homs 35/21, Hasaka 44/31, Tartous 33/25, Aleppo 41/25, Idleb 39/25, Deir Ezzor 44/31.
