Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to drop to become around average in general, while they will be slightly higher in the eastern and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Monday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be relatively cold at night, especially over the mountains.
The wind will be westerly with a low to moderate speed and active gusts whose speed exceeds 65 km/h in the afternoon and it will be accompanied by dusty conditions, while the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 33/18, Daraa 34/17, Homs 28/16, Lattakia 25/19, Aleppo 29/16 and Deir Ezzor 38/21.
