Aleppo, SANA- The Love and Loyalty Festival, organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with Aleppo Governorate to celebrate the winning of Dr. Bashar al-Assad in the presidential election, concluded its activities on Sunday evening with an artistic ceremony by singer Shadi Jamil on the amphitheater of Aleppo Citadel.
The ceremony included a group of authentic Aleppo songs and patriotic songs, in the presence of a wide audience of the city’s residents and lovers of authentic music.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter, singer Shadi Jamil noted that the festival’s title is love and loyalty, saying, “Loyalty is to the one who is loyal, and he is President Bashar al-Assad as today the locals in Aleppo are expressing their joy and happiness over the winning of the leader of the country in the presidential elections.”
Jamil added that he feels happy when he stands on the amphitheater of Aleppo Citadel and sings for the locals of the city, stressing the importance of this edifice, which has been protected and preserved by the martyrs of the Syrian Arab Army personnel.
Deputy Head of the Executive Office of the Aleppo Provincial Council, Ahmed Yassin, said that celebrations are taking place today in all parts of the country, including Aleppo, where the locals in the city express their joy at the victory that Syria achieved through the presidential election and the winning of President al-Assad in the presidential election, which is a conclusive evidence of the love and loyalty of the Syrian people to those who protected the country.
Naela Shahoud, Director of Tourism Department in Aleppo, said that holding the festival comes within the Ministry of Tourism’s plan to bring joy back to the locals of Aleppo who remained steadfast and who achieved victory over terrorism and it is a message to the world that Syria will remain a country of peace and will stand in the face of every conspirator who wants to undermine its sovereignty and independence.
