Beirut, SANA- Former Lebanese President, General Emile Lahoud, affirmed that the massive popular participation in presidential election in Syria represents a crowning of the victories achieved against terrorism and its supporters.
Lahoud said in a statement to SANA that “Syria has overcome conspiracy thanks to the support of its people and army for the leadership, We do not forget the sacrifices of the martyrs on its land, and we are confident that it will overcome the difficulties it may face in the future.”
Lahoud expressed his confidence that Syria will continue its march in commitment to the resistance and steadfastness until the goals of liberation are achieved.
