Health Ministry: 140 new coronavirus cases recorded, 115 patients recover, 8 others pass way

Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Monday that 140 new coronavirus cases were recorded in Syria, while 115 coronavirus patients recovered, and 8 others passed away.

In a statement, the Ministry stated that the total number of coronavirus cases recorded in Syria has reached up to 18,638, of which 12, 492have recovered, while 1,247 others have passed away.

The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22^nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first fatality was recorded on the 29^th of the same month.
