Damascus, SANA- “Creative Stages 2021” art exhibition by international sculptor Aktham Abdel-Hamid came 23 years after the last solo-exhibition that was held in Tajalliyat Art Gallery.
The exhibition includes 54 sculptural works, which talk about the family, women, bull and phoenix, through using different materials such as basalt, marble, wood and bronze, in different sizes.
Abdel-Hamid said in a statement to SANA that he focused on the issue of the Syria family, the issue which he has devoted all over the years of the war in the foreign sculptural forums he participated in to stir up the controversy about the issue of targeting the Syrian family and the social texture of our country.
The exhibition came to prove that art teems with life in Syria despite the difficult conditions we are passing through.
