National Union of Syrian Students in Hungary calls on EU to remove unjust blockade on Syria

Budapest, SANA- National Union of Syrian Student in Hungary called on the European Union to remove the unjust blockade and the unilateral coercive measures imposed on the Syrian people.

“In light of the unjust terrorist war imposed on the Syrian poeple, since 10 years, which brought killing and destruction that included all domains of the lives of Syrian people, time has come for the European Union to carefully consider its policies towards Syria.” the Union said in a letter addressed to the UE in Hungary on Thursday.

The Letter also called for the immediate removal of the unjust economic blockade on the Syrian people, which had a negative impact on all domains in Syria, particularly living and health.

It added that because of the unjust blockade, obtaining all medical requirements to combat the spread of coronavirus epidemic and treat became not possible, in addition to its impact on the food security and the energy sector in the country.
