Temperature to rise, weather relatively cold over mountains

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will rise to become from 1 to 3 degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Tuesday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general with some scattered clouds, while the weather will be relatively cold over the mountainous regions, warning against fog in some inland regions.

The wind will be of changeable direction with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 21/8, Daraa 19/8, Homs 19/11, Lattakia 20/14, Aleppo 19/10 and Deir Ezzor 21/9.
