Capitals, SANA- The novel coronavirus “Covid 19” has claimed the lives of 2,478,000 persons worldwide since its outbreak in December 2019, according to latest statistics by the American Worldometers website.
The Website added that the total number of the worldwide coronavirus infections has reached up to 111,970,296 till now, while the death toll has climbed to 2,478,354, and the recoveries have amounted to 87,336,130.
In Germany, data from the Robert Koch Institute for Infectious Diseases showed on Monday that the number of Coronavirus infections has risen to two million and 390,928 cases after recording 4,369 new infections, while the total number of deaths has reached up to 67,903 after recording 62 new fatalities.
In China the National Health Committee announced today that 11 new Coronavirus cases have been recorded on the Chinese Mainland over the past 24 hours, all of them came from abroad, bringing the total number of infections on the Mainland to 89,842cases, while the number of deaths is still 4,636.
