Damascus, SANA- The Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 45 new Coronavirus cases were registered in the country, adding that 72 patients infected with the virus recovered while 3 others passed away.
The Ministry said, in a statement, that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 14,951 of which 8,826 cases have recovered and 984 have passed away.
The first coronavirus case was recorded in Syria on March 22nd last year in a person who came from abroad, while the first death was registered on the 29th of the same month.
