Damascus, SANA- Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 56 new Coronavirus cases were registered in the country, and that 72 patients infected with the virus have recovered while 3 others have passed away.
The Ministry said, in a statement, that the total number of Coronavirus cases in the country climbed to 14724 of which 8438 cases recovered and 968 passed away.
The first Coronavirus case registered in Syria was reported on March 22nd last year and the first fatality from the virus was recorded seven days later.
