Al-Auda valley… an echo writes a history among two banks that refuse division

Damascus, SANA – Wadi al-Auda “Return valley” is a heart that pulses with Will and determination which resists elapse. The valley is located in the liberated area of Majdal Shams in the occupied Syrian Arab Golan.

Sameer Abu Saleh, son of Majdal Shams, told SANA that the house of his family is located few meters away from the barbed wire, set up by the Israeli occupation authorities , which prevented him from contacting with his family and land where he was brought up and had a lot of memories.

“On this land, fiercest battles have been carried on, where the Ottoman and French occupation troops were defeated… Today, history repeats itself with the Israeli occupation as the Syrians in Golan resist and refuse all forms of occupation,” Abu Saleh said, affirming Golan citizens’ adherence to the Syrian identity and national principles.

Majdal Shams is located in the farthest north side of the of occupied Syrian Arab Golan and it is part of Quneitra province which lost about 1,200 square km during the occupation of 1967. “

After the occupation, the Israeli entity imposed an arbitrary partition on families, homes and lands where Ayn al-Tina became a small village that includes 30 houses whose real owners are present in the occupied part of it,” Abu Saleh added. Years-long hateful occupation didn’t kill hope for the Syrians’ right to return and liberate the land from the Israeli occupation.
