Damascus Countryside, SANA- Damascus Countryside Health Directorate and the national hospitals of Qatana and al-Qatifah on Thursday received an ISO 9001: 2015 certification which is related to developing the medical work and providing high-quality services.
The office of Damascus Countryside Health Directorate was granted an ISO certification for the high quality of the administrative services provided in it, while Qatana National Hospital was granted the certification for its implementation of the quality system at the general and internal care departments, outpatient clinics, children, incubators and women departments.
Meanwhile, the ISO certification was granted to Qatifah National Hospital for its implementation of the quality system at the departments of outpatient clinics, general care, college washing and laboratories, radiology, surgical department, incubators and pharmacy.
On October 8, 2019, the General Authority of the Syrian Arab Red Crescent (SARC) Hospital received the ISO 9001: 2015 certification for the Intensive Care Departments, the Otolaryngology Division, the Hormones Laboratory, the Revenue Department, the Training and Rehabilitation Directorate, and the Biological Infusion Unit that serves joint, gastrointestinal and skin patients, and ahead of that the certification was given to al-Basel Hospital for Cardiac Diseases and Heart Surgery in 2017.
