Hama, SANA – A new solar energy renewable station will be established soon in Hama province to be put into service and investment after connecting it with public electricity network within 3 months.
The new station will support the public electrical network supply. It is the fruit of cooperation between public and private sectors and it will be invested for the benefit of the electrical system in the province for 25 years.
Owner and investor of the station, Ghassan Khleif told SANA reporter that the station is considered as an extension to the first station that he has invested since last year. It will be a promising experience on the way of investing the renewable energy as an alternative to electricity which depend on oil, gas or fuel.
He pointed out that the new station would be established near the first one of the industrial zone area, east of Hama city that extends on an area of 20 dunums, including 3,030 solar system panels and serves Hama province which has a capacity of 1 megawatt per hour.
