Cold weather continues to prevail across the country

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will be from 3 to 6 degrees above average in most areas as the country is affected by superficial high air pressure

in all layers of the atmosphere.

 Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, warning against the formation of frost over the mountains.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly of a low speed, while the sea waves will be low in height.

 The expected temperatures in some major cities will be as follows:

Damascus 18/9, Daraa 18/8, Homs 15/4, Tartous 22/14, Aleppo 16/4, Idleb 16/6, Deir Ezzor 19/5.
