Capitals, SANA-According to the latest statistics by the American Worldometers Website, the novel Coronavirus has claimed the lives of more than one million and 850,000 people worldwide since its appearance in December 2019.
The Website added that the total number of infections recorded worldwide has reached up to 85,5456,071 till now, and the deaths have amounted to 1,850,116, while 60,387,711 coronavirus patients have recovered.
The US still tops the most-affected countries by the virus in terms of the registered cases and deaths, as it has recorded 360,028 deaths, out of 21,080,686 infections.
Meanwhile, India comes second with 149,686 registered deaths, out of 10,341,291 infections, while Brazil comes in the third place with 196,018 deaths out of 7,733,619 infections.
