Capitals, SANA- Coronavirus has claimed the lives of 1.828.000 persons around the world since its emergence in December 2019, according to the latest statistics published on Saturday by the American World Meters website.
According to the website, the total number of infections in the world has reached 83 million, 934 thousand and 165 infections.
Meanwhile, confirmed cases of Coronavirus in the US have surpassed 20 million since the outbreak of the pandemic until last night.
CNN reported that the US recorded more than 20.1 million infections and more than 347,000 mortalities in the Coronavirus.
In this context, health experts warned of mounting numbers in the infection cases this month, with the discovery of a new variant strain of the virus in the country, and increasing numbers in the crowded places and travel during holidays.
