High air pressure prevails across the country, frost expected

Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will continue to rise to become from 1 to 4  degrees above average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general, while the weather will be cold at night, warning against frost in the inlands and the mountains.

The wind will be easterly to northeasterly of low to moderate speed, and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows:

Damascus 14/5, Daraa 16/16, Homs 16/5, Hasaka15/4, Tartous 22/13, Aleppo 14/4, Idleb 15/6, DEir Ezzor 18/5.
