Capitals, SANA- According to the American Worldometers Website, the worldwide coronavirus (Covid-19) death toll has climbed to 1,724,496 while the number of infections has reached up to 78, 390,945 since the outbreak of the pandemic was reported.
The Website added that the United States has remained on the top of the worst-affected countries by Covid-19, as the total number of infections has amounted to 18,684,628, of which 33,0824 have passed away.
In India, which comes in the second place after the United States, the total number of coronavirus infections on Wednesday rose to 10,099,066, after 23,950 new infections have been recorded over the past 24 hours while the death toll has reached up to 146,444 after registering 333 fatalities, according to the latest data issued by the Health Ministry.
Meanwhile in China, the National Health Committee announced that it received reports on Tuesday on recording 15 new confirmed cases of coronavirus in the Chinese Mainland, in addition to recording 14 deaths.
