Bern, SANA- Syria’s Basketball team moved up five places in the FIBA World Ranking to number 8 in Arab ranking, number 17 in Asia ranking and number 90 in the World Ranking.
The Syrian Basketball team beat his Iranian counterpart 70/77, within the second window of the Asian 2021 qualifiers, after the Syrian team has lost the match with his Qatari counterpart 79-72.
The Syrian team won his match with his Saudi Arabia counterpart 70-75 in the opening of the first window of the Asian 2021 qualifiers last month.
However, the Syria and Saudi Arabia were the biggest risers in Asia, moving up five places each to Number 90 and Number 91, respectively in the FIBA World Ranking .
