Cairo, SANA_ Secretary-General of the Arab Popular Front for Unity in Egypt, Alaa Abu Zaid, affirmed that solidarity with Syria is a duty on everyone in facing the schemes that target Arab countries.
In a statement to SANA reporter in Cairo on Tuesday, Abu Zaid condemned the continuation of the Western coercive economic measures imposed on Syria.
He considered that these measures represent a continuation of the terrorist plans which are backed by the United States and Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s regime to target Syria and weaken it.
“Syria, with its army and people, is capable of smashing all evil schemes to which it has been exposed,” Abu Zaid said, adding that Syria will achieve victory.
He pointed out to the relations binding Syria and Egypt which affirm the unity of blood and destiny between the one Arab people in the two brotherly countries.
