Moscow, SANA-the Syrian Ambassador to the Russian Federation, Dr. Riad Haddad, affirmed on Monday that the decision of Russian forces’ participation in the war on terrorism in Syria in 2015 was a turning point in the Syrian-Russian relations.
Haddad said during a social event inaugurated at the “House of Nationalities” in Moscow, that
the Syrian-Russian relations throughout history have been a friendship and brotherhood relationship, but in 2015, it developed a lot and became a strategic alliance and partnership one in defense of humanity and the whole world against the threat of international terrorism.
Haddad pointed out that the hostile forces continue to impose economic sanctions for impoverishing and besieging the Syrian people and seeking to thwart the Syrian-Russian alliance in all fields, among them is media as black and false propaganda continues to distort the image of the anti-terrorism campaign launched by the Syrian and Russian army.
