A young man injured in mine blast in Damascus Countryside

Damascus Countryside, SANA- A person was injured in a blast of a mine left behind by terrorist organizations in Beit Tima village in Qatana area in Damascus southwestern countryside.

A source at Damascus Countryside Police Command told SANA reporter that a 22-year-old male sustained shrapnel wounds in the explosion of a mine while he was accompanying a flock of sheep grazing in the lands in vicinity of the village.

The source added that the wounded man was rushed to al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus and his condition is critical.

On Sep. 1st, a woman sustained wounds in an explosion of a mine while she was working in the farm of her family in Beit Jin village in Damascus southwestern countryside.

The engineering units at the Syrian Arab Army work on dismantling explosive device and mines left behind by terrorists in the liberated areas to guarantee the safety of the displace who have returned to their homes to be able to return to their normal life.
