Daraa, SANA_ The transit traffic through the Nassib-Jaber border crossing between Syria and Jordan resumed on Sunday, September 27 after it was reopened to freight traffic only.
The crossing was closed two weeks ago from the Jordanian side.
Director of Daraa Transport, Muhib al-Rifai, said that 65 trucks and refrigerated trucks carrying vegetables and fruits entered Jordan after the crossing opened.
There are still 235 trucks and refrigerators stuck waiting to enter, he added.
The Nassib-Jaber Border Crossing was opened in late 2018 for passengers and trucks, but the Corona pandemic imposed its limitation in both directions to trucks.
