Temperatures above average, skies partly cloudy in general

Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise to become slightly above average in the coastal region while they will be from 5 to 8 degrees above average in other regions as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure accompanied by a subtropical high pressure in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

Meteorology Department expected in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be hot and the skies will be clear to partly cloudy in general as there will be a weak opportunity for showers in the western region.

The wind will be of changeable direction to easterly with a low speed and the sea waves will be low in height.

The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 40/26, Daraa 39/24, Homs 38/23, Lattakia 33/26, Aleppo 42/25 and Deir Ezzor 44/28.
