Cabinet decides opening schools on September 13th

Damascus, SANA- The caretaker cabinet has decided to open schools on Sep. 13^th after considering the health protocol submitted by the Education Ministry to tackle the novel coronavirus during the new school year.

The cabinet directed the parties concerned at the Ministry of Education and its affiliated bodies to adapt the study plan accordingly and abide by the plan proposed by the Ministry to compensate for the educational loss and to observe all health requirements.

Earlier on Sunday, the cabinet reviewed the health protocol submitted by the Education Ministry for the new school year with all of its stages and the mechanisms of applying it to address the coronavirus in a way that would preserve the health of the students and the teaching staff and would guarantee the quality of the educational process.
