Damascus, SANA – The Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 70 new Coronavirus (COVID-19) cases have been registered in Syria, and that 15 persons infected with the virus have recovered, while 2 others passed away.
This brings the total number of Coronavirus cases registered in Syria to 2143, of which 490 recovered while 85 cases passed away.
The first Coronavirus case in the country was registered on March 22nd while the first death was reported a week later.
