Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain around average or slightly higher as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure coming from the southeast and accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear to partly cloudy while the weather will be misty and relatively hot in the eastern, al-Jazeera and al-Badia “semi-desert” regions, and it will be nice and moderate in general over the mountains with high humidity in the coastal regions.
The wind will be southwesterly with a low to moderate speed in the coastal regions while in the other regions, it will be westerly to northwesterly with active gusts accompanied by dusty conditions in the inland areas and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 37/20, Daraa 34/19, Homs 33/21, Lattakia 31/23, Aleppo 36/20 and Deir Ezzor 40/25.
