Temperatures around average, rain showers expected over coastal areas

 Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will drop to become around or slightly above average as the country is affected by a superficial low air pressure from the southeast accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.

The Meteorology Department expressed in its Wednesday bulletin that the weather will be clear to partly cloudy in general, local rain showers are expected over the western and coastal areas, and it will be relatively hot and misty in the eastern areas and al-Badia. The winds will be western to northwestern between low to moderate in speed, while the sea waves will be low in amplitude.

The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 35/20, Homs 32/20, Hasaka 44/28, Lattakia 30/24, Aleppo35/22 and Deir Ezzor 41/27.
