Governorates, SANA- In response to the preventive measures taken to confront Coronavirus, Eid Al-Adha prayers were performed at homes in Damascus and its countryside after the Ministry of Endowment suspended Eid prayers at mosques in the two provinces.
Meanwhile, the prayers were held at mosques in other provinces as usual, amid healthy conditions and strict preventive measures.
The Ministry of Endowment had suspended Eid prayers at mosques in Damascus and its countryside in order to save the soul in light of the widespread cases of Coronavirus.
In the rest of Syrian provinces, Eid al-Adha prayers were held as usual, with taking into account the health necessary conditions and procedures to confront Coronavirus.
The measures included disinfecting mosques, providing worshipers with masks, leaving distances among worshipers.
