Capitals, SANA- The number of people who have contracted the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) around the world has climbed to 11,955,847.
According to a statistic published by the Worldometer website, which specialized in statistics on the number of deaths from the virus said that the death toll hit 546,737, while the recoveries reached up to 690,246.
In this context, data from Robert Koch Institute in Germany today revealed that the number of confirmed cases of coronavirus increased from 397 to 197,341, along with 12 recorded deaths bringing death toll to 9,036.
Meanwhile in India, the Ministry of Health announced the registration of 22,752 new infections in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections to 742,417, while the deaths increased by 482, bringing the total deaths to 20,642.
China also announced seven confirmed infections in the Chinese mainland, all from abroad, without any deaths, bringing the total number of the confirmed cases to 83,572, while 4,634 people died from the disease.
For its part, Kyrgyzstan announced 345 new injuries, bringing the total number of injuries to 8,486 in addition to 13 deaths, bringing the number of deaths to 112.
