“Sanabel”…dance performance by Syrian Shahrazad troupe in Sweida

Sweida, SANA- “Sanabel” dance performance was performed by Syrian Shahrazad troupe on the stage of Arab Cultural Center of Sweida announcing the return of the public shows after two months of suspension due to the precautionary measures to tackle the novel of Coronavirus.

The 40-minute dancing show was led by the artist Mazen al-Hakeem, with the participation of 35 dancers.

Hakeem said that the idea of the show is derived from the reality and named with Sanabel because this plant is a title of hope, good, giving and life continuation which reflects the Syrian geography in all its components, sending a message of love and pleasure.

The Director of Sweida Culture Directorate, Bassel al-Hennawy said that the show is considered the first one to be organized in the presence of audience after the return of activities with full commitment to the precautionary measures in terms of avoiding congestion, gatherings and committing to safety distance among the presenters in addition to sanitizing.

Shahrazad troupe was established in 2016. Through its activities, the troupe shed light on the heritage, habits and traditions of Sweida province. It participated in different national activities.
