Damascus, SANA-Health Ministry announced on Monday that three new coronavirus were registered for congenial persons in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus countryside, while 4 cases have recovered.
The Ministry said in a statement that the total number of infections in Syria reached 144, adding that 62 of them have recovered and 6 have died.
The Health Ministry announced Sunday that 16 new coronavirus cases were registered in Ras al-Ma’ara town in Damascus Countryside raising the total of the registered cases to 141.
It indicated that the infected people were in close contact with the infected truck driver who works on the Syrian-Jordanian route.
The first case of coronavirus was detected in Syria on March 22nd, 2020.
