Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will continue to rise, yet they will remain below average as the country is affected by a superficial high air pressure accompanied by southwestern air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be clear in general to partly cloudy over the coastal and northern regions and rain might fall over the coastal mountains.
The wind will be westerly to southwesterly with a low to moderate speed and the sea waves will be low in height.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 29/16, Daraa 29/17, Homs 26/15, Lattakia 26/18, Aleppo 28/14 and Deir Ezzor 33/20.
