Damascus, SANA-The Syrian premier league resumed its competitions after nearly 2-months suspension due to the measures taken by the government to confront the coronavirus.

In the opening of the 17^th round, al-Wathaba beat its counterpart, al-Fotowa, 4-1 in a match that was held in Damascus without popular attendance because of coronavirus measures.
