Lattakia, SANA_ Two devices for sterilization and measuring temperature from a distance were designed by a research team from the Faculty of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at Tishreen University in Lattakia.
The two devices work without touching them and can replace the manual devices as part of the local efforts to tackle the Coronavirus.
Long hours of continuous work inside the university and from homes in curfew conditions resulted in this design for the research team consisting of seven students.
Mechanism of the work of the two devices is very simple, and once the hand is placed under the device, a sufficient amount of alcohol, liquid soap, or any sterile substance is poured out.
The current achievement and other previous achievements stress the ability of Syrians to manufacture more advanced devices of several advantages if they have the appropriate climate, support, and necessary funding.
These devices can be used to check people in normal conditions and in the current conditions to test individuals suspected of having the Coronavirus.
