Aleppo, SANA_ Every day, new initiatives are launched in the country to support government measures taken to confront the novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) and prevent its spread.
“Together for the Homland” is one of those initiatives launched in the city of al-Sfira in southern Aleppo, where a group of young volunteers began making medical masks and distributing them to workers.
According to Mohamed Rabie Arja, head of the group, the initiative includes making 2,000 masks and delivering them to bakers, police and cleaning workers in Al-Sfira city.
Volunteers said in statements to SANA that their initiative aims to help government efforts to overcome the threat of the COVID-19 pandemic.
