Damascus, SANA- Temperatures will remain from 3 to 6 degrees below average as the country is affected by a low air pressure in all layers of the atmosphere accompanied by a cold air mass.
Meteorology Department expected in its Thursday bulletin that the skies will be partly cloudy to rainy sometimes, particularly over the western and northern areas, while snow will fall at night over the mountains whose height exceeds 1400 meters.
The wind will be southwesterly with a moderate speed and active gusts sometimes and the sea waves will be medium in height.
Over the past 24 hours, different amounts of rainfalls have been registered in a number of Syrian provinces as follows: Hasaka 31 mm, Homs 31 mm, Damascus countryside 5,5 mm, Quneitra 12 mm, Hama 12 mm, Tartous 15 mm, Lattakia 19 mm, Aleppo 7mm, Sweida 5mm, Raqqa 11 m, Daraa 2mm and Deir Ezzor 14mm.
The expected temperatures in some major Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 6-13, Daraa 7-14, Homs 5-10, Lattakia 9-13, Aleppo 4-10 and Deir Ezzor 10-16.
