Health Ministry still adopts measures at border crossings to prevent the country from Coronavirus

Damascus. SANA- Health Ministry is determined to go ahead in its measures in all provinces and border crossings for the prevention of Coronavirus, COVID-19.

Health Minister, Nizar Yazigi, affirmed that no cases of Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been registered in Syria and the results of the suspected Coronavirus cases were negative.

His remarks came during a visit to al-Arida, Josiah and Jeser –Kamar border crossings in Homs and Tartous provinces to inspect the measures taken there.

The Minister added that the Ministry of Health has opened a quarantine center which is equipped with all medical supplies in al-Duwair area in Damascus countryside to transfer any suspected Coronavirus case for detection.
