Damascus, SANA-Temperatures will remain about 2 to 4 degrees below average in most areas as the country is affected by a low air pressure accompanied by western air currents in the upper layers of the atmosphere.
Meteorology Department expected in its Friday bulletin that the sky will be clear and partly cloudy in general while the weather will be cold in the northern, eastern and al-Jazeera areas, warning against frost over mountains and fog in the inlands areas.
The wind will be easterly to northeasterly with a low to moderate speed with active gusts which will exceed 75km/h sometimes in the coastal mountains, parts of southwestern and central regions, while the sea waves will be low to medium in height.
The expected temperatures in some main Syrian cities will be as follows: Damascus 12/5, Daraa 13/6, Homs 7/2, Lattakia 10/8, Aleppo 6/1 and Deir Ezzor 10/3.
