Damascus, SANA- Deputy Prime Minister, Foreign and Expatriates Minister Walid al-Moallem met on Tuesday the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to the Syrian Arab Republic Deepthika Priyadarshani Calyaneratne Wickramarachchi Karunarante.
Minister al-Moallem received from the Ambassador her credentials as non-resident Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka to Syria.
Talks during the meeting dealt with the bilateral relations and means to enhance and develop cooperation in various domains for the benefit of the two friendly peoples and countries.
