Syrian Olympic football team beats Japan 2-1 in U-23 Asian Cup

Bangkok, SANA_ Syrian Olympic Football team beat the Japanese team 2-1 in the second round of the groups’ league of U-23 Asian Cup that was held in Tailand.

Abdul Al-Rahaman Barakat and Alaa’ Al-Deen Dali scored for Syria in the 9th minutes and 87th minutes respectively.

KSA tied with Qatar (0-0) in the same group.

With this result, Syria and KSA ranked first with 4 points while Qatar ranked second with 2 points and Japan came third with no points.

Syria will meet KSA next Wednesday.
